Thetford Rugby Club is celebrating a remarkable achievement, securing early promotion to Eastern Counties 1 North for the remainder of the 2024/2025 season and confirming their place for 2025/2026. Under the leadership of head coach Neil Thynne, Thetford’s playing side has undergone a remarkable transformation. His expertise, commitment and passion have played a pivotal role in driving the squad forward, fostering a strong team ethos and a winning mentality. The club has seen a surge in player numbers, with new registrations increasing steadily, reflecting the positive environment and commitment to development.
Off the pitch, the committee has worked tirelessly to ensure Thetford Rugby Club continues to thrive. Their efforts have strengthened the club’s infrastructure and cemented Thetford’s reputation as a hub for rugby development in the region.
The club proudly hosts Norfolk and Eastern Counties training sessions and matches, as well as providing a venue for Bury and Wymondham girls’ training and fixtures.
