As a small, family-run business, Thetford Carpet Warehouse understands the importance of supporting the local community whenever possible. While it’s not always feasible to say yes to every opportunity, they take great pride in doing their part, especially when it comes to backing the town’s local sports clubs.
Cricket holds a special place in the hearts of business-owners Brett and Gemma Tilly. Both of their sons, along with their nephew, play for Thetford Town Cricket Club, and over the years the family has been actively involved, whether through coaching, playing, volunteering, or simply enjoying a Friday evening at training. Thetford Carpet Warehouse has supported the club for many years through advertising, but this year they wanted to contribute in a way that would be more hands-on.
As part of the clubhouse redesign, Thetford Carpet Warehouse were delighted to supply and install new flooring in the main bar area. The refreshed venue is a fantastic space for hosting events and will continue to look great for years to come.
Their commitment to local sport doesn’t stop there. Thetford Carpet Warehouse also proudly sponsored the 6th hole at the Junior Open Golf Competition, hosted at Thetford Golf Club. This prestigious event attracts talented junior golfers from across the country, and it was a real honour for the club to host it once again. Their son, a dedicated junior member (pictured above), spends countless hours practising and playing, so it was a proud moment to see him compete on the day.
