Norwich Road Academy is keen to support and be an active part of the local community.
Children from our nursery have been watching the new care home, Coronation House, being built and now it’s ready thought it would be kind to paint some art work for staff and residents. Being a ‘Kind’ school, the children wanted to paint the residents spring flowers after learning about plants and flowers in their ‘Green Fingers’ topic. The children walked Coronation house to donate their artwork and met with the manager and her team. The children kindly gifted the framed art over to Teresa, care home manager, and have been invited back for a time capsule event. The children thoroughly enjoyed painting the flowers, walking to the care home and felt proud to donate their paintings. Norwich Road Academy believe it is important to work within and support the local community.
