Thetford Library is working with Britten Sinfonia musicians and young people from Thetford Academy to launch the new Thetford Music Café.

Starting Wednesday 8th October, adults and older people are invited to join a series of fun, creative workshops led by violinist Caroline Speca, alongside other Britten Sinfonia musicians and local students. Together, participants will explore different musical styles, share stories, sing, and even create brand-new music as a group.
No experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to join in. The Music Café offers a relaxed way to meet others, try something different, and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of making music together.
The workshops will lead to a Community Showcase at Thetford Academy on Wednesday 12th November at 12:15pm. A free lunch will be provided after the performance, with details shared at the sessions. Come along, make music, and be part of something special in Thetford this autumn. Places are free but booking is essential: www.norfolk.gov.uk/libraryonline
