enABLE Weekly AccessibiliTEA sessions return at Thetford Methodist Church

After the successful launch of enABLE Thetford’s AccessibiliTEA group last autumn, the weekly sessions have returned from 3rd October.

A group of people sit chatting around tables covered in green polka-dot tablecloths at a community centre. Some are enjoying tea and cake, while others are engaged in conversation. The room has brick walls, floral window blinds, and a welcoming, informal atmosphere, suggesting a friendly social gathering or community coffee morning.

They offer local residents who are disabled or living with long-term health conditions the chance to socialise, chat and enjoy refreshments in a warm and welcoming space. Sessions will run every Friday from 12.30–2.30pm in the Harling Room at Thetford Methodist Church, continuing through to 12th December.

To help raise funds, enABLE Thetford will also host an Autumn Craft Fayre on Saturday 1 November in the Howlett Room at Thetford Methodist Church, from 9.30am to 1pm. A variety of stalls will be offering gifts, hand-made items and craft supplies, with refreshments served until 12.30pm.

Volunteers are always welcome. Helping at the AccessibiliTEA sessions, or with other enABLE Thetford projects, is a great way to support the community. If you would like to get involved, drop by one of the sessions for a chat or get in touch by emailing enable.thetford@gmail.com or calling 07706 035856.
