Centre Stage Studio, based at the Charles Burrell Centre, has just returned from an unforgettable second visit to Disneyland Paris, where they performed after a successful audition.

In December 2024, the studio auditioned for the opportunity to perform in summer 2025 and were selected straight away. Disney’s Performance Management praised their submission: “It was a strong audition! The pieces were well executed, and we could feel the dedication and hard work your group put into the performance. Great job, especially on the tap piece!”
Excitement quickly followed as 24 dancers, aged 6–18, began preparing for their performance on the Videopolis Stage, located in the heart of Disneyland. On 7th August, the dancers were guided through the park by Disney staff, treated to a backstage tour, and completed a technical rehearsal before stepping into the spotlight. Their 20-minute performance featured five routines and impressed both the public and Disney team, who described Centre Stage as one of the most organised and professional dance schools they have had. Audience members praised the dancers during and after the show, commending their talent and professionalism.

Studio owner Nicole Boast, who organised the entire experience, said, “We had 84 people with us, and it truly was an experience to remember. The students performed beautifully, we made unforgettable memories, and had so much fun. I’m incredibly proud.” This marks Centre Stage’s second Disney performance, following their debut in 2022. They’re already planning a return in three years with an even bigger team.
The studio are now preparing for the National Entertainment Awards in October, where they will be performing at The O2 London and have been nominated for two awards, Best dance school in the South East Award and Best soloist Award for Alice Parker.
