With more frequent town services, cheaper fares and improved regional connections, there has never been a better time to choose the bus for travel in and around Thetford.

The Thetford Rangers T1, T2 and T3 services now provide buses up to every 20 minutes throughout the day from Monday to Saturday, alongside hourly Sunday services, helping residents travel across town seven days a week.
Routes serve key destinations including major supermarkets, Forest Retail Park, Breckland Leisure Centre, Thetford railway station and the Bus Interchange, where passengers can connect to services towards Attleborough, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and King’s Lynn.
Bus travel also remains affordable, with single fares costing £1.50 and all-day travel available for £3.50. Contactless “tap on, tap off” payment is available across services, making journeys quicker and easier for passengers.
Live travel information is also now available at stations and bus stops, as well as through QR codes displayed on town routes. This allows passengers to check when their next bus is due and plan journeys more confidently.
Thetford is also linked to several fast regional services. The Breckland Beeline 90 provides direct travel to Norwich via Attleborough, including links to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Meanwhile, services 88 and 89 connect Thetford with King’s Lynn and the College of West Anglia, while services 84, 86 and 86A offer regular journeys to Bury St Edmunds and the West Suffolk Hospital.
Whether travelling to work, college, the shops or meeting friends, local bus services are now offering a more convenient and accessible way to get around.
