Saturday 6th December is the Feast of St Nicholas and Ancient House will have a very special visitor – Father Christmas himself! Come along to meet him, have a photograph and receive a small gift. Tickets are just £4 per child.

Also on that day, the Teenage History Club Youth Group will be taking over with a range of Christmas crafts and music, including making your own sweets, cards and decorations plus a hot drink and biscuit too. They are working with Joy at the Jobcentre and Kick the Dust Norfolk on this event.

On Tuesday 9th December, join author Steve Smith to find out about The Lost Regiment – The Real Story of the Sandringham Regiment in the First World War. Steve has been researching the story of the missing regiment for many years and will be signing copies of his new book The Norfolks at Gallipoli. It would make a great Christmas present for someone.

On Saturday 20th December, local artist Matt Warnes will be running a Christmas Card Linocut Workshop for Young People aged 11 to 19. The event is free, funded by the Breckland Youth Advisory Board.

All events can be booked by coming into the museum, or visiting:
