Thetford Pumpkin Trail gets underway on Cloverfields

The popular Thetford Pumpkin Trail is now underway on the Cloverfields estate, bringing pumpkins, creativity and plenty of Halloween fun to the local community.

Running until Saturday 31st October, the free trail has once again transformed homes and gardens across the estate with imaginative pumpkin displays for visitors to discover.

Last year, an impressive 45 houses took part, creating a colourful and spooky trail enjoyed by families from across Thetford and the surrounding area.

Visitors can collect a map showing the participating houses before making their way around Cloverfields and discovering the different displays along the route. There is also an opportunity to vote for a favourite, with households competing for the coveted title of best display.

The trail is organised by Michelle Pitcher, who stepped forward to keep the event running when its original organisers decided to move on.

“I’ve always enjoyed the Pumpkin Trail, and when the original organisers decided to step away, I really wanted to make sure it didn’t disappear,” said Michelle. “It’s such a lovely community event and it’s fantastic seeing what the participants create and then watching families walking around the estate, enjoying all the displays together.

“It’s completely free, and there’s something really special about seeing the whole community come together for a bit of Halloween family fun.”

Whether you are a regular visitor or experiencing the trail for the first time, wrap up warm, grab a map and head to Cloverfields to enjoy the displays and cast your vote.

Further information and trail maps are available through the Thetford Pumpkin Trail Facebook page.
