The latest Thetford Players Youth group production, Pantoland Prosecutions is a courtroom drama with all the elements of a panto in a new unique format.

Group of smiling children and a few adults posing indoors with their arms raised in celebration. They are standing and kneeling in front of colourful backdrops and banners, including ones for “Thetford Players” and “The Story of Panto.”
The cast and team behind Pantoland Prosecutions

The script written by David Williams and directed by Laura Williams, asks if panto is a good or bad influence on the youth of today – with the audience playing the part of the jury. The young cast, aged 8 – 14 shine as they bring their parts to life.

In the dock are Ivor Goodcase and a host of panto’s best-loved characters, defending our traditional Christmas show against Bianca Baddie, who wants it banned! The Thetford Players Youth Group promise plenty of fun along the way

Pantoland Prosecutions opens on Friday 12th September, with a matinee and evening show the following day. Tickets can be purchased at: ticketsource.co.uk/thetford-players
