Cleaning is rarely something most people look forward to, but there’s something about a thorough spring clean that can excite a house-proud person—or one of Maid2Clean’s maids—to get their rubber gloves on.

That fresh feeling and lovely scents after a house is cleaned from ceiling to floor are incredibly rewarding and will make any home feel renewed.
“Spring cleaning” can mean doing as much or as little as needed. Nobody is going to check for dust or see if a DVD collection is organised. Everyone has their own standards, and cleaning should be done to suit them.
Spring has always been a great time to refresh a home. Before central heating, houses were kept shut tight against the cold of winter, heated with coal, oil, and wood, and lit with candles—all of which produced smoke and ash. As warmer days and lighter evenings arrived, homes were aired, dust was swept out, and linens dried quicker in the breeze.
Spring cleaning is also about more than just getting rid of junk and dirt—it also symbolises clearing out the cobwebs in the mind and soul.
