The Thetford Awards Recognising Achievement (TARA) are back for 2026, celebrating the individuals, businesses and organisations that make a real difference across the town.

Three people pose together at an awards ceremony, smiling towards the camera against a dark stage backdrop lit with blue and purple lighting. The person in the centre wears a light blue suit and tie and holds a colourful trophy featuring stylised figures and a star. The two people beside them are dressed in formal evening attire, with one person’s arm around the award winner. The image captures a celebratory moment following a presentation or recognition event.

The awards officially launched on Monday 20th April and will culminate in a black-tie awards evening later this year, bringing the community together to celebrate the very best of Thetford.

“It is wonderful to see the TARAs return again for another year, celebrating the hard work and dedication of those across our community,” said Sonya Wright, Town Clerk of Thetford Town Council.

“Congratulations and good luck to all nominated and to those involved in organising the awards ceremony.”
