Thetford Photography Group is bringing together local people with a shared passion for capturing the world through photography, creating a welcoming online space for photographers of all abilities.

Open to beginners and experienced photographers alike, the group encourages members to share images, exchange ideas and celebrate creativity in all its forms.
From woodland scenes around Thetford Forest to local events, wildlife and everyday moments, the group showcases a wide variety of styles and perspectives from across the area.
Group organisers say the focus is not on expensive equipment or technical perfection, but on enjoying photography and learning to see the world differently.
“It’s not about having the best equipment or perfect technique – it’s about seeing something interesting and choosing to frame it,” the feature explains.
Alongside photo sharing, members regularly offer friendly feedback, tips and encouragement, helping to create what organisers describe as a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.
The group includes photographers interested in landscapes, portraits, wildlife and street photography, with questions and experimentation actively encouraged.
